This MVC201 extends the field-proven 1st Generation 2K Media Block MVC200-DC to full 4K processing and the option to host the server software on a powerful embedded processor with HDD or SSD attached.

Thus, the IMB can evolve to an IMS (Integrated Media Server) without re-investing into the Media Block hardware, just by upgrading the software.
